While the numbers may not be what some may expect,(see Three Faces of Eve) the focus and targeted nature on schools may be a tantalizing stimulus for more: "Advocates for FAST have called for approximately $50 billion in upfront spending, with the hope that early investment would beget future ones as neighboring school districts petition their members of Congress for money of their own." ]

My original slam was against the Morning Brew that Joe Scorborough pours, but I had yet to hear Robinson swing. He hit it out of the park, while Obama has yet to come up to the plate in the ninth.]

Bold added, along with "try" "angle" links after *** and the unburied Ledes to Hoffa. One pun on Time is the magazine as well as the element of zones and other personalities. While there is no Atlantic time zone, there is a magazine.
Previous comment was also post-"Ledership is Tricky" bracketed note. While there may not be a punchline to my first comment, this last bracket
just may do the trick for the post, and pre-Obama speech.
Links inserted in "under construction" are the final nails in my foundational forms: "the president's jobs plan will probably be more of the same, and it should be, more of everything he compromised on and the Republicans blocked".
Maybe I am just reading between the lines, or trying to write between them, but it does seem where Obama needs to hold a course. Now that is a grand punch line, and where there may be a lesson. He cannot be anyone of the past, nor let alone the future, but he just may be more of the leader he could be.
To complete my tetrahedron of redundance, there are three organizations and three faces of Eve, not to mention the three branches of government and we the people or what the heck is the point? I am only highlighting the perspectivism of the three points of view as to what needs to be done. Waters, Dowd, Wasserman Schultz, and Goldilocks.
Batting 5th? Note model/slash/metaphor and pivot from personalities to dynamics. My original baseball inspiration has been lost, but it had to do with the prospects for the Joint Session speech. Would it be a fastball or a sinker, would the Republicans swing at it or even come up to the plate? I think it may be a softball, that they better not strike out on. Games are a poor metaphor. There are teams and winners and losers, but what counts is what is being played for, and if they don't step up to the plate and move the economy along, they better get out of the kitchen, and kill two metaphors with one Truman.
